An activity designed to give young children their first contact with horses in a safe, positive, and fun way, within a controlled environment and guided by specialized professionals.
At Mallorca Horses, this experience allows children to get to know, care for, and ride the horse progressively, respecting their own pace while fostering confidence, calmness, and enjoyment.
The activity begins with a groundwork phase, during which children learn how to brush, clean, and care for some of our purebred horses, developing familiarity and respect for the animal.
Next, they ride in our sand arena, where simple exercises and age-appropriate equestrian games are carried out, aimed at improving balance, coordination, and a basic understanding of the horse’s language, always through a playful and safe experience.
The session includes a short ride around the riding center, allowing children to enjoy their first riding experience outside the arena in a calm and controlled environment.
To finish, and if conditions allow, children take part in bathing the horse, strengthening the bond, care, and respect, and bringing the activity to a fun and memorable close.
