Classical Riding
MID LEVEL – Approximately 1 h 10min activity (Private lessons. Schedule to be arranged).
Price: 75€
This session is designed for riders with an intermediate foundation who wish to consolidate and improve their classical or Spanish riding, developing greater balance, control, and sensitivity. The work is carried out with Spanish-cross horses, correctly trained and selected for their good temperament, regularity, and willingness to work.
The lesson is structured around the fundamental principles of classical dressage: rhythm, relaxation, contact, impulsion, and balance. Technical work focuses on progressive exercises on one and two tracks, aimed at improving straightness, flexibility, and coordination, such as basic shoulder-in, introductory half-pass work, leg-yield, and clear transitions between and within the gaits.
The central focus of the session is the correct foundation of riding: balanced riding with a stable seat and clear, consistent aids, encouraging the horse to respond calmly and willingly, fostering regularity, confidence, and harmony within the partnership.
The instructor guides the rider in improving position, feel, and coordination, adapting the work to the level of each combination and always respecting the horse’s welfare.
Technical objectives:
- Consolidate correct and balanced riding.
- Improve clarity of the aids and the quality of the horse’s response.
- Introduce and reinforce basic exercises on two tracks.
- Develop a relationship of trust and understanding with the horse.
A progressive and educational equestrian experience, designed to build solid foundations and prepare the rider for higher levels of classical or Spanish dressage.
